Puerto Aventuras Mayor Election Update This Saturday

The official announcement for the upcoming mayoral election in Puerto Aventuras is slated to be released this Saturday. This follows the Solidaridad Council's approval of candidate requirements. The news was shared by the Town Hall's general secretary, Luis Herrera Quiam.

The announcement will be accessible at both the Municipal Palace and the Puerto Aventuras mayor's office. This will allow interested candidates to review the requirements and formalize their intentions to run. The election is scheduled for Sunday, December 15. High voter turnout is anticipated, as emphasized by Herrera Quiam.

Additional security measures will be implemented to ensure a smooth and incident-free election process. “The procedure has clearly defined deadlines. The registration of ballots, their formation, and the requirements that need to be met are all detailed to ensure fairness in the process,” Quiam explained.

While specific requirements were not disclosed to maintain the Council's decisions and prevent any unfair advantages among potential candidates, it was shared that the announcement will be open to those who wish to participate in a transparent and rule-abiding manner.
