Cancún, Quintana Roo — Police raided a bar in Cancún on Saturday night as part of a human trafficking investigation, authorities announced.

Officers from the Ministerial Police, Municipal Police, and Mexican Navy executed a judicial search warrant at the establishment called “Caribeños” on Rancho Viejo Avenue around 8 p.m. The bar is located on Gastón Alegre López Avenue, commonly known as Rancho Viejo, near the border between Cancún and the Continental Zone of Isla Mujeres.

Police sources said the operation stemmed from a human trafficking complaint, which led a judge to authorize the raid. Authorities have not yet confirmed whether any victims were rescued or suspects detained during the operation.

Following the search, the State Prosecutor’s Office seized the property. The investigation remains ongoing.
