Mérida, Yucatán — The Mérida Chamber of Commerce, Services, and Tourism (CANACO Servytur) has officially inaugurated the Plaza CANACOME within the 51st edition of the Feria Yucatán Xmatkuil. The space is designed to strengthen business presence and offer visitors a renewed commercial experience during the fair's run.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony was led by the President of CANACO Mérida, José Enrique Molina Casares; the state Governor, Joaquín Díaz Mena; the Honorary President of the DIF Yucatán, Wendy Méndez; and the fair's ambassador, who accompanied this symbolic act marking the opening of a new meeting point for local entrepreneurs and businesses.
The Plaza CANACOME features 31 stalls housing a wide variety of brands offering beverages, food, accessories, groceries, and other products. This allows visitors to enjoy a diverse offering in a single location while simultaneously supporting Yucatecan commerce and entrepreneurship.
This event represents a significant commercial movement for the region. As the fair is a cultural highlight for the state, it becomes an ideal showcase for brands, which find in this space a strategic opportunity to connect with thousands of visitors and strengthen their presence.
