Playa del Carmen, Mexico — A person died on Monday afternoon inside the medical clinic of a Similares pharmacy in Playa del Carmen after seeking treatment for chest pain.
The incident occurred at the pharmacy located at the intersection of Avenida 98 and Calle 30 in the Colosio neighborhood. According to preliminary information, the person went to the clinic complaining of chest pain but their condition suddenly worsened after entering, reportedly due to a cardiac event, leading to their death.
Civil protection paramedics responded to the scene and attempted to provide first aid, but confirmed the person showed no vital signs and could not be revived.
Authorities were notified, and personnel from the State Prosecutor’s Office arrived to handle legal procedures and arrange for the body to be taken to a funeral home.
