Official Dates for the 2026 National Military Service

Military Training
- First stage: February 14 to May 9, 2026
- Second stage: August 1 to October 24, 2026

Among the most important modifications to the National Military Service is the reduction in the number of sessions required to release the Military Service Card. Starting this year, conscripts must complete only 13 sessions, which speeds up the process.

Requirements to Perform the National Military Service

Who is Exempt from the 2026 National Military Service?
Youth who obtained a black ball in the draw conducted last November by the Municipal Boards and Recruitment Mayoralties will be exempt from performing the training. The meaning of the draw is as follows:
- White or blue ball: March
- Black ball: No march, but remains available

Delivery of Cards and Release Forms
The delivery of cards and release forms for the 2026 National Military Service will initially take place at the mayoralties and municipal boards, and subsequently at the Recruitment Offices of the Military and Naval Zones, according to the calendar established by the Ministry of National Defense.
