Puerto Aventuras, Quintana Roo — The municipal government has launched an integrated initiative combining operational urban maintenance work with direct public service modules. The program aims to improve basic infrastructure, streamline administrative procedures, and strengthen the direct link between authorities and residents.

During the Mega Public Services Brigade, more than 100 municipal workers participated, distributed in crews assigned to pothole repair, manual street sweeping, removal of solid urban waste, cleaning of absorption wells, and park maintenance. Twenty-six units were utilized for the maneuvers, including dump trucks, bobcats, cranes, and vehicles designated for the collection of junk.

The Directorate of Maintenance and Urban Hygiene carried out repairs on road sections and removed objects accumulated on public roads. The Directorate of Public Spaces deployed three teams for cleaning tasks in recreational areas. Public Lighting attended to five citizen reports related to faults in streetlights, and Normativity and Sanitation conducted inspections to detect potential irregular wastewater discharges.

In parallel, the first social outreach event, "Chambamanía en tu Colonia," was installed in the town's main domed structure, providing access to free municipal procedures and services. Among the participating departments were the Municipal Treasury, Civil Registry, Directorate of Housing and Regularization, Secretariat of Citizen Security, and the Directorate of Youth. Two additional modules with social services also operated: one for nutritional guidance and another for pet vaccination. The Secretariat of Social Justice and Citizen Participation distributed food support corresponding to a municipal program.

Public audiences were held during the event for the reception and resolution of citizen requests. Inquiries regarding official documentation procedures, maintenance of public services, access to programs, and the channeling of reports were addressed. Cases that could not be resolved on-site were registered with a tracking number and an assigned responsible department for institutional follow-up.

Mayor Estefanía Mercado was present at the opening of the event, touring the service modules and supervising the urban services operation. During the encounter, the municipal delegate of Puerto Aventuras, Gilberto Gómez, stated that these activities allow for the direct guidance of the population regarding procedures and the responsible departments for each case, in addition to reducing response times for frequent administrative tasks.

The Secretariat of Public Services, headed by Julieta Martín, explained that the tasks are organized through operational shifts and that personnel continue to attend to citizen reports as they are registered, both in the field and through official channels.

According to information provided by the involved departments, both the brigade and the administrative modules are part of a calendar currently in development that will include new dates in other zones of Puerto Aventuras and neighborhoods within the municipality.

The participating departments reported that the data obtained during the event will be integrated into urban incident records to schedule new actions on roadways, green areas, and locations where service backlogs or failures were detected.

Local authorities announced that the next date for a community intervention will be publicized in advance, with the objective of maintaining a permanent mechanism for citizen attention and report follow-up.
