Cancún, Mexico — Mobility ADO is reinforcing its specialized transportation services in the Mexican Caribbean, positioning itself as a key player in regional mobility as it prepares for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, for which Cancún will serve as a gateway city.
The company's Specialized Transport segment currently operates a fleet of 150 vehicles serving Cancún, Playa del Carmen, Tulum, and Chetumal. These services cater to hotel personnel as well as national and international clients involved in group and convention events, incentives, and medical tourism.
Marisol Ríos Riaño, the commercial manager for Mobility ADO's Specialized Transport in the Caribbean region, explained the distinct nature of their service. "Unlike the intercity transportation seen in terminals, we offer a much more tailored service for clients who require it," Ríos Riaño said.
The company is strengthening its presence in the Riviera Maya with these personalized services. Ríos Riaño noted that with the growth of destinations like Costa Mujeres and the Riviera Maya, this specialized transportation service has been gradually expanding. The reach of this mobilization has now extended southward to Puerto Aventuras and Akumal, a development she stated benefits all companies dedicated to this specialized transportation sector.
She acknowledged significant competition in the state, with many companies involved in personal transport. Mobility ADO is focused on continuing to grow within this competitive market by concentrating on the demand for quality service.
"We receive visitors from all over the world, including those from medical tourism, conferences, incentives, or different forums who require transportation, and we provide it," Ríos Riaño said.
Similar to leisure tourism, these market segments have their own seasonality, and the company affirmed it is prepared to receive these clients and offer them the best service from the airport or their hotels to their final destination.
Finally, looking ahead to the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Ríos Riaño confirmed that the company is already in communication with municipal and state authorities. The discussions are focused on providing this type of specialized transportation as needed for the global event.
