Playa del Carmen, MX — A man ended up with a head injury after a brawl that occurred this Wednesday afternoon in the heart of the tourist zone, right at Juárez Avenue and Quinta Avenida, just steps from Fundadores Park and the ADO bus stop, where he allegedly had an argument with a taxi driver.
According to the Tourist Police, officers were conducting a foot patrol when they located the man, who had a robust build, dark complexion, and was dressed in gray and black tones, with a head wound.
Although an ambulance was requested for his assessment, the individual refused to receive medical attention and also declined to provide his personal information.
The alleged aggressor, identified as a taxi driver, had already left the scene when the officers arrived.
The injured man decided to leave on his own, without allowing paramedics to intervene. After the incident, the police continued with their patrols without any further developments being reported.
