In the early hours of Saturday, a significant security operation took place in Cancún's region 510. State and federal authorities executed a search warrant at the "Pink Dogs Sport Bar", situated on Chac Mool Avenue, between Cancún and Nichupté avenues. The operation was spearheaded by the Attorney General's Office of the State of Quintana Roo, in collaboration with the Secretary of the Navy and other organizations.

Unofficial sources suggest the operation may be linked to suspected human trafficking activities believed to have taken place within the establishment. The operation began around 00:45, startling local residents and pedestrians who watched as authorities closed off part of the road to inspect the building. For over three hours, the agents maintained a guard around the premises while carrying out their inspection.

Although no arrests have been officially confirmed, onlookers reported seeing agents place security seals on the bar, indicating that investigations are still underway. Early reports suggest other potential irregularities may have been discovered at the location, including possible possession of weapons or drugs. However, this information has not been officially confirmed.

The operation resulted in traffic congestion on Chac Mool Avenue towards Nichupté. Authorities advised residents to use alternative routes and stay tuned to official updates regarding the case. The State Attorney General's Office has not yet released an official statement about the search results. However, sources close to the matter assure the investigation is ongoing and is part of a broader effort to combat serious crimes in the state.
