Mexico City, Mexico — Mexican airline Magnicharters has suspended all scheduled flights for the next two weeks due to logistical problems, impacting passengers across several destinations. The company, identified as Grupo Aéreo Monterrey, S.A. de C.V., announced the disruption in a statement, citing issues that prevent flights from operating as planned.

Magnicharters, which calls itself the “Tourist Airline of Mexico,” expressed regret for the service interruption and noted its 30-year history of transporting millions of passengers under standards of quality, comfort, and safety. The airline has provided a customer service number, 55 5141 1351, for affected travelers to seek information about their flights.

In response, the Secretariat of Infrastructure, Communications, and Transport (SICT), through the Federal Civil Aviation Agency (AFAC), reported that airlines and airport groups have implemented an assistance plan for passengers in transit. Authorities said affected travelers at Cancún, Mérida, and Huatulco airports can go to the counters of Aeroméxico, Viva Aerobus, and Volaris to receive possible support.

The SICT stated this strategy aims to assist passengers who had flights booked with Magnicharters during the suspension period.
