Playa del Carmen, Mexico — Municipal authorities reported the discovery of a man without vital signs in the Las Torres area.
The body of a man identified as "La Tatiana" was recovered in the Yaxché center at approximately 14:20 hours. Preliminary reports indicate the presumed cause of death was drowning.
According to the initial report, the body was found behind the long-distance terminal of the taxi drivers' union. The discovery prompted a significant mobilization of emergency response teams and drew the curiosity of individuals present in the area at the time of the incident.
Police officers subsequently arrived at the site and interviewed witnesses. These witnesses stated they had seen the deceased minutes earlier, socializing with two other people and consuming alcoholic beverages at the location.
Finally, based on the testimonies gathered at the discovery site, the hypothesis was put forward that the cause of death was drowning; however, investigations continue to determine the real causes of the individual's death with certainty.
