What Happened?
According to reports from neighbors and authorities, the death occurred around 1:30 p.m., when medical assistance was requested through the emergency number 911 for a man who was unresponsive and remained motionless on the public street, at the intersection of Calle 48 and Avenida 15. The individual was homeless and took shelter in an abandoned condominium in the sector.
Based on testimonies gathered at the scene, people who usually assist those who spend the night in the area came to lift him after noticing that midday had already passed. When attempting to move him, they observed bodily rigidity, so they requested an ambulance.
Upon arrival, paramedics confirmed that the man no longer had vital signs. Subsequently, authorities cordoned off the area to preserve evidence and requested the intervention of experts from the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE).
