Holbox Projects Over 80% Hotel Occupancy for March and April, Showcases Wellness Offerings at International Fair

Holbox, Quintana Roo — The island of Holbox is projecting hotel occupancy rates above 80% for March and April, with tourism leaders highlighting its exclusive wellness offerings at an international trade fair in Colombia.

Christian Stenta, president of the island’s hotel association, expressed optimism about the upcoming months. “March and April could confirm occupancy around 80%, which would be an optimal result,” he said. “The restoration of streets with new sand is giving a super result in the destination’s image, and we see the municipal president, Nivardo Mena, determined to elevate Holbox to the positioning the pearl of the Mexican Caribbean deserves.”

Holbox was featured at the Anato International Tourism Fair in Bogotá, Colombia, where it was recognized as a global reference for harmony between tourism and nature. The destination’s promotion focuses on “exclusive wellness” experiences, offering an integrated approach to physical, mental, and emotional well-being through relaxation and health activities.
