Cancún, Mexico — Grupo Ultra, a 100 percent Quintanarroense company that operates brands such as Ultrafemme, will close the year with investments of 230 million pesos in its 83 points of sale and next year will inaugurate a luxury store in Plaza La Isla, which will feature the largest Rolex boutique in Latin America.
José García, general director of Grupo Ultra, stated in an interview following the press conference for the 50th Anniversary of Ultrafemme, which was presided over by founder Elena Villareal and where they announced a special edition of five perfumes to celebrate the brand, that they will continue expansion plans not only in the Mexican Caribbean but throughout the country, generating more than two thousand direct and indirect jobs.
He mentioned that, although Cancún remains their operational base, they now have a presence in 11 states, which is a true challenge, as it involves representing more than 200 luxury brands that drive a large value chain and attract more than 5 million customers, both national and international, to their points of sale.
In fact, he indicated that, following the opening of the first high-end store, Cancún positioned itself as the third international destination for luxury brands, attracting high-income travelers who not only enjoy the beauties of the Mexican Caribbean but also shop, extending their stay, which benefits all productive sectors of the industry.
He emphasized that, before, their most emblematic project highlights the opening of a luxury store in Plaza La Isla in October 2026, which will feature the largest Rolex boutique in Latin America, in addition to their brands Ultrafemme, Ultrajewels and Krei, as well as Luxury Avenue, so it will be a strong year for investment, accompanied by foreign capital.
