Gloria Trevi to Launch Cozumel Carnival 2026 with Concert
Cozumel, Quintana Roo — Gloria Trevi will kick off the Cozumel Carnival 2026 festivities with a concert on Saturday, January 17 at 10:00 pm at the Moby Dick Entertainment Center. The singer will perform her greatest hits in a show that marks the beginning of one of Quintana Roo’s most important celebrations.
Ticket sales for the concert will begin on Tuesday at 9:00 am at a booth set up at the Municipal Palace. Prices are set at 500 pesos for presale and 600 pesos on the day of the event.
That same Tuesday will also feature the presentation of candidates for the Carnival 2026 Kings and Queens.
Full Carnival 2026 Schedule
The Cozumel Carnival 2026 will include numerous events throughout February:
- Friday, February 6: Wapayasos and Juana Guadalupe performances, along with voting for Kings of Diversity. Location to be confirmed.
- Saturday, February 7: Lasso performance, voting for Youth Kings and Queens, and farewell to the 2025 Kings and Queens. Location to be confirmed.
- Sunday, February 8: Luli Pampín performance and presentation of Children’s Kings and Queens.
- Saturday, February 14: First Grand Carnival Parade starting at 6:00 pm from the Municipal Palace, followed by María José performance and costume contest in all categories at the Moby Dick Entertainment Center.
- Saturday, February 14: Los Súper Lamas and Raquel Bigorra performance at Quintana Roo Park.
- Sunday, February 15: Second Grand Carnival Parade featuring Los Socios del Ritmo and Alexander Acha, Torito Wacax Che contest, and presentation of Kings and Queens at the Moby Dick Entertainment Center.
- Sunday, February 15: Chico Che Chico and Che Maney performance (popular dance with Tabasco theme) at Quintana Roo Park.
- Monday, February 16: Main artist to be announced on January 31, performance at APIQROO.
- Tuesday, February 17: Third and Final Grand Carnival Parade.
- Tuesday, February 17: Margarita, “La Diosa de la Cumbia,” and Junior Klan performance at Quintana Roo Park.
