The Fourth Transformation (4T) candidates have emerged victorious in the Quintana Roo elections. They have secured victories in municipalities, federal and local deputies, and senatorial positions, effectively achieving a "clean sweep" in political terms.
In the mayoral elections, the most notable victories were in Benito Juarez and Isla Mujeres. Mayors Ana Patricia Peralta de la Peña and Teresa Atenea Gomez Ricalde, both backed by the Sigamos Haciendo Historia (Let's Keep Making History) coalition, received over 70% and 80% of the votes, respectively.
The tightest race was in the municipality of Othon P. Blanco, the state capital of Chetumal. Here, Yensunni Martínez Hernández was reelected with a slim margin of 43 votes over Lidia Esther Rojas Fabro from Movimiento Ciudadano.
In Solidaridad, home to tourist destinations Playa del Carmen and Riviera Maya, Estefanía Mercado won with 55% of the votes, defeating PAN party member Lili Campos, who was seeking re-election.
The Alianza Sigamos Haciendo Historia mayoral candidates also triumphed across the state. Victories included Jose Luis Chacon Mendez in Cozumel, Maricarmen Candelaria Hernandez Solis in Felipe Carrillo Puerto, Josue Nivardo Mena Villanueva in Lázaro Cardenas, Diego Castañon Trejo in Tulum, Jose Alfredo Contreras Mendez in Bacalar, and Blanca Merari Tziu Muñoz in Puerto Morelos.
In José María Morelos, where the National Regeneration Movement (Morena) competed alone, Erik Noe Borges Yam, the party's candidate, also secured a victory.
In the local deputy elections, the Let's Keep Making History Coalition won 60% of the votes and 11 of the 12 local deputy positions. Morena secured the remaining position.
In the Senate election, Anahí González and Gino Segura, the SHH Coalition candidates, won 66% of the votes. The second major force, the Fuerza y Corazón coalition, secured 18% of the votes.
