Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo — A fire destroyed a home early Saturday in the In House neighborhood, prompting a response from Playa del Carmen firefighters.
Emergency services received the report at around 2:15 a.m. and dispatched units to Bahía de La Habana Street, near Lilis Avenue.
Upon arrival, firefighters found the house fully engulfed in flames and began working to control and extinguish the blaze.
According to preliminary reports, no one was inside the home at the time of the fire, and no injuries were reported.
The fire caused significant property damage, with officials at the scene describing the losses as total.
The cause of the fire has not been determined.
