Mexican delegate Fátima Bosch wore a spectacular design inspired by the goddess Xochiquetzal for the National Costume Competition of Miss Universe 2025, held on the morning of Wednesday, November 19.
One day before the announcement of the contestant who will be crowned as the new representative of the beauty pageant, the woman from Tabasco paraded in a costume that includes her spiritual animal.
Fátima Bosch won the Miss Universe Mexico pageant last September, when she traveled to Zapopan, Jalisco, to represent her native Tabasco. Previously, in April 2018, the Tabasco native participated in the Flor de Oro contest, which was held in Villahermosa, Tabasco, where she represented the municipality of Teapa.
Fátima Bosch in the Miss Universe National Costume Competition
Fátima Bosch joined the list of Miss Universe 2025 participants who walked the runway on the morning of Wednesday, November 19, to showcase the costume representing their country.
The Mexican creation was designed by Fernando Ortiz, who was inspired by the goddess Xochiquetzal to create a piece highlighting the colors gold, green, and red.
Ortiz's creation features several details of hummingbirds, Fátima Bosch's spiritual animal. Although it might seem like a very heavy costume, one could say the most uncomfortable part is the headdress.
Fátima Bosch's costume included feathers, natural red roses, and jeweled embellishments.
The detail of the hummingbirds coincided with this animal being the messenger that guides and protects the contestant from Tabasco.
The designer shared a clip showing Fátima Bosch in the minutes before the parade.
