Tulum, Mexico — Demonstrating a firm commitment to regenerative tourism and the protection of Mexico's natural capital, the Eco-Bahia Foundation has carried out a series of strategic actions within the framework of its "Oasis of Péepen" program and as part of the 2nd National Celebration of the Monarch Butterfly. These actions focused on the reforestation of native flora, the protection of wild fauna, and the strengthening of community environmental education.

Through collaborative efforts with residents, students, and volunteer collaborators, more than 50 native plants were sown. These included key host plants for pollinators, monarch butterflies, and bees, reinforcing biological corridors that guarantee the health of local ecosystems and their resilience against climate change.

In parallel, playful and educational workshops for girls, boys, and young people were conducted. These workshops covered biodiversity conservation, recycling, habitat restoration, and good environmental practices, strengthening the bond between the community and nature.

"Cada planta sembrada, cada acción educativa y cada especie protegida representan una inversión en nuestro futuro común. La conservación no se logra en soledad; es un trabajo colectivo que une ciencia, comunidad y compromiso. En Eco-Bahía creemos firmemente que proteger la naturaleza es proteger la vida," said Luis Verdín, Manager of the Eco-Bahia Foundation.

This program also includes species monitoring and the restoration of areas impacted by human activities, integrating local actors, educational institutions, and strategic allies to amplify its environmental and social impact. These actions consolidate the Foundation's role as a regional reference in regenerative tourism and the conservation of natural capital.

The entire community is invited to join in the protection of the environment and marine life by making donations through the official website: https://eco-bahia.com/colabora.
