Tulum, Quintana Roo — Authorities in Tulum have apprehended José Benjamín “N,” alias “El Cuervo,” a high-priority criminal leader linked to multiple homicides, and confiscated a significant arsenal in a major blow to organized crime.

José Benjamín “N,” identified as the head of a violent criminal group operating in the region, was captured during a targeted operation. Authorities recovered six AK-47 rifles, one AR-15 rifle with a loaded magazine, 33 empty magazines, and 13 loaded magazines.
