Cozumel Carnival 2026: Full Schedule and Events

Cozumel, Quintana Roo

The government of José Luis Chacón has unveiled the Official Program of events for the Cozumel Carnival 2026. This year’s celebration is highlighted by a pre-carnival season running from January 17 to February 8, followed by the formal carnival stage taking place on February 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15.

This series of spectacles will feature five main venues where the public can enjoy various events. The crowning of the new kings of this annual celebration in its different categories is also planned.

“Friends, I invite you to be part of Carnaval Cozumel 2026. Our island fills with joy, music, parades, and tradition to share moments with family and friends,” is part of the invitation extended by the local government to people from the state and the world.

Local authorities aim to boost tourism through this type of spectacle.
