Sheinbaum Delivers Homes in Quintana Roo, Visits Key Projects

President Claudia Sheinbaum during her visit to Quintana Roo

Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo — Claudia Sheinbaum sparked a wave of enthusiasm during her visit to Quintana Roo, where she was received with shouts of support, signs, and cheers at various points on her tour.

Playa del Carmen was the epicenter of the day, becoming the first place in the country to receive the delivery of homes from the new “Edén Bienestar” subdivision.

In a festive atmosphere, families from Playa del Carmen attended service desks to collect their deeds and expressed they were “living a dream.”

Sheinbaum delivered 225 homes corresponding to the first stage and announced that the project contemplates the construction of 995 in total, guaranteeing property certainty for hundreds of families who had waited for years for an opportunity of this kind.

During her message, the president reaffirmed her affection for Quintana Roo and thanked the support of Governor Mara Lezama, whom she recognized as a “governor who delivers and insists on more support for her people.”

The cheers did not cease, and Sheinbaum responded by assuring that more projects are underway to strengthen social welfare in the state.

The tour also covered other municipalities. In Puerto Morelos, she led the Mujeres Bienestar assembly at the Zetina Gasca dome, where she listened to testimonies and reiterated that support for women will continue to be central to her agenda.

In Cancún, she supervised the construction of CBTIS 301, a facility that will provide education to 900 students; and concluded with a review of the progress of the Maya freight train in the same city, a key work for the logistical and economic development of the region.

Between selfies, applause, and hugs, the visit made clear that social support for Sheinbaum in Quintana Roo remains solid—and that the state remains on the priority map of her government.
