The fire occurred around 8 p.m. near a well-known casino within the plaza.

According to preliminary information, the driver was moving through the area when the car stopped suddenly.

Upon attempting to stop in the parking lot, the engine began to emit smoke until, within seconds, the fire broke out.

The man managed to exit the vehicle in time and reach safety.

The exact cause of the incident remains unknown; however, the driver’s account suggests the fire may have started due to a possible mechanical failure or an electrical short circuit.

The area was cordoned off by police officers until firefighters from the Cuerpo de Bomberos brought the emergency under control. (Agencia SIM)
