Cancún, Quintana Roo — The traditional Oktoberfest will be held on October 10 and 11 at the Andrés Quintana Roo stadium, home of the Cancún FC club, where a soccer match will also take place with the support of the German consulate.

Oktoberfest Cancún 2025 aims to offer a unique edition that will combine gastronomy, music, German culture, and sports, with the promise of becoming one of the most anticipated events of the year. The event, driven with the support of the Benito Juárez Municipal Government, the state government, and with the official representation of Germany in Mexico, seeks to consolidate Cancún as a world-class destination that, in addition to sun and beach tourism, is betting on cultural and tourist diversification.

This year, for the first time, the Oktoberfest will coincide with an official Cancún FC match, which will allow attendees to enjoy the game from the festival area. "It will be something unique: experiencing the atmosphere of Oktoberfest while enjoying a professional match. A perfect complement between sport and culture," highlighted Christopher Espinosa, a member of the organizing committee.

The official inauguration will take place on Friday, October 10 at 5:00 PM with the traditional barrel-opening ceremony (O’zapft is!), which will be attended by municipal and state authorities and diplomatic representatives from Germany.

As in each edition, music will be one of the main attractions; the stage will host a German band from Bavaria, which will perform polkas, traditional themes, and modern versions adapted for German instruments, as well as dancers, accordionists, and typical spectacles from the region. The program includes contests, games, and family activities, consolidating the event as an inclusive experience for all ages.

The gastronomic portion will be handled by local and foreign chefs, including a German chef who has worked for major hotel chains and who advised students from local universities such as Unimaat and the Universidad Tecnológica de Cancún. Visitors will be able to sample everything from sausages, pork knuckles, and potato salad, to pastries and special dishes that have never been presented in previous editions.

And without a doubt, one of the main ingredients will be the seasonal German beer, brewed especially for Oktoberfest, considered a tradition linked to the end of the harvest in Bavaria.

Beyond entertainment, Oktoberfest Cancún 2025 will have a strong social and cultural component; there will be stands from civil associations such as the Fundación Aitana, which supports girls and boys with cancer, as well as organizations that promote scholarships and study opportunities in Germany. The cultural pavilion will be focused on disseminating educational programs backed by the German government, offering information about postgraduate studies, exchanges, and language learning.

"We want this event to not only be about beer and music, but also a door to new opportunities for the young people of Quintana Roo," pointed out Giovanni Solazzi, vice president and general director of Cancún FC.

In previous editions, Oktoberfest Cancún has gathered between 1,600 and 1,800 attendees per day, and this year that number is expected to be surpassed thanks to the integration of soccer and the expansion of the cultural offerings.

Tickets for the festival can be purchased at the link https://mistickets.com.mx/ or at the box office of the Andrés Quintana Roo stadium. They will cost 300 pesos on Friday, which includes access to the Cancún FC match, and 200 pesos on Saturday. The stadium gates will open from 4:00 PM, with a scheduled closing time of 2:00 AM.
