Cancún, Quintana Roo, December 21, 2025 — The constant activity of events, workshops, and new recreational dynamics has driven notable growth in attendance at Cancún Park during the current year.
After receiving just over 90,000 visitors in 2024, the facility’s administration estimates that in 2025 the figure could reach up to 150,000 people.
According to César Barrios, the park’s director, the increase in attendance responds directly to the diversification of activities and the improvements implemented in the space.
He indicated that the combination of workshops, attractions, and greater availability of schedules has allowed the park to attract an increasingly broad public.
The executive explained that the current conditions of the park, along with the extension of its operating hours, have generated a positive response among attendees.
This is complemented by activities scheduled consistently, which has consolidated the park as a growing recreational meeting point.
Barrios emphasized that the project was primarily designed for the enjoyment of the local community.
Although the park has received both national and international visitors, he clarified that the largest volume of attendees continues to be residents of Cancún, who have adopted the space as a recurring leisure option.
In figures, he detailed that during 2024 the park closed with 90,000 visits, while so far in 2025 nearly 120,000 have already been recorded.
With the realization of a festival scheduled for this weekend and the start of the holiday period, they are confident of reaching the projected goal of 150,000 attendees.
Likewise, he highlighted that many Cancún residents who already know the park now recommend it and integrate it into the activities they carry out with family and friends who come to visit, alternating beach days with tours of this recreational space.
Finally, he acknowledged the positive impact of CharyBus, a transportation service operated by the park that connects Plaza Las Américas with the facility.
This alternative has facilitated access for people who do not have their own vehicle, allowing the transport of around 50 users every Saturday, which has contributed to expanding the park’s reach among the local population.
