Cancún, Mexico — The lifeless body of a man was discovered on Monday morning on 91st North Street, between José López Portillo and Francisco I. Madero Avenues (Route 4) in Supermanzana 93, mobilizing police elements and paramedics from the Red Cross.
The discovery, reported around 6:30 a.m., has raised questions about the circumstances of the death, as witnesses reported seeing the man lying on the ground since Sunday, believing he was asleep.
Upon arriving at the site, paramedics confirmed the absence of vital signs and cordoned off the area to preserve the scene. Forensic specialists from the State Attorney General's Office took charge of the body removal. The body was transported to the Medical Forensic Service for autopsy examinations.
Neighbors recounted that on Sunday they observed the man motionless on the sidewalk but did not raise the alarm until the following morning, when his continued immobility aroused suspicion.
At this time, the deceased remains unidentified, with no details released about his identity, age, or possible cause of death. Authorities have initiated an investigation to clarify the facts of the case, while awaiting the forensic report to determine if there are elements of a crime.
