Bagged Corpse Found In Puerto Aventuras

Another individual has been executed, bagged, and abandoned on a dirt road in Puerto Aventuras.

Early Monday morning, around 6:45 AM, a motorist spotted what looked like a body wrapped in a black bag on a dirt road running beside the Playa del Carmen – Tulum Highway 307, near the Hard Rock Hotel in Puerto Aventuras. The driver immediately reported the finding to 911.

Solidaridad Municipal Preventive Police quickly arrived at the scene and confirmed it was indeed a human body. They secured the area as a crime scene and called in the Quintana Roo State Attorney General’s Office to handle the investigation and arrange for the corpse to be taken to the morgue.

At the moment, the cause of death is unknown although it appears to have been an execution. The victim has not been identified nor the motivation for the crime.

This discovery marks the 45th execution in the municipality of Solidaridad in 2024.

This is the third abandoned corpse found in Puerto Aventuras this year. The first was found in the irregular settlement known as Monte Sinai. The second was found outside the small multiplaza under the Puerto Aventuras flyover bridge.
