Quintana Roo Partners with World Justice Project to Enhance Rule of Law

In a significant development, the Quintana Roo government, along with the Judicial Power and the State Attorney General's Office, have signed memorandum agreements with the World Justice Project (WJP). The goal is to bolster the Rule of Law in the region. Quintana Roo's governor, Mara Lezama Espinosa, has expressed her commitment to this cause.

"Today, we are taking a decisive step towards strengthening the Rule of Law in Quintana Roo," said Governor Lezama. "By signing these three memorandums, we are reaffirming our dedication to principles of governance such as transparency, accountability, and the fight against corruption. We are committed to working tirelessly to uphold these principles."

The agreement, which involves collaboration with the World Justice Project and other organizations, is aimed at improving Quintana Roo's standing in the Rule of Law Index. It will bolster programs like "Excellence in Public Service" and "Guardians of Transformation".

Governor Lezama will spearhead a global team dedicated to strengthening the Rule of Law in Quintana Roo. This demonstrates a genuine commitment to justice and transparency in the region.
