Cancún Motorcycle Crash Injures 3, Including Toddler

CANCÚN, Quintana Roo — A collision between two motorcyclists on Niños Héroes Avenue in Supermanzana 201 has resulted in three individuals sustaining injuries, including a two-year-old girl who suffered a severe blow to the head.

The incident occurred shortly after 5:00 p.m. today in the Haciendas del Caribe subdivision. According to initial reports, one of the motorcyclists was traveling with his daughter toward La Guadalupana when he attempted to make a U-turn and was struck by another motorcyclist who was allegedly operating his vehicle under the influence of alcohol.

Emergency medical services from ERUM and the Red Cross arrived at the scene later to provide first aid to the injured parties before transporting them to different hospitals for further treatment.

Forensic experts from the traffic department also arrived to document the scene. The two motorcycles involved were impounded in a vehicle pound pending the determination of liability for the collision.

The area was cordoned off by municipal police until the incident was fully processed.
