Playa del Carmen, Mexico — The municipal government of Playa del Carmen has presented formal recognitions and announced a special economic bonus for personnel with 10, 15, 20, and 25 years of service in the Heroic Fire Department of Playa del Carmen. The honors were bestowed during a ceremony held in observance of Firefighter's Day, celebrating the bravery, dedication, and service vocation of the firefighters who protect the lives and property of the community daily.
A Tribute to Valor and Service
Municipal President Estefanía Mercado led the tribute, stating, “Today we pay homage to the true heroes and heroines, to our male and female firefighters of Playa del Carmen. Their work is not just a profession; it is an act of love towards the community. They are always present when they are needed most, regardless of the hour or the danger.”
