Playa del Carmen, Mexico — In a night filled with tradition, music, and local pride, Texan-Mexican singer Bobby Pulido delivered a successful performance at Plaza 28 de Julio as part of the artistic and cultural activities of Feria del Carmen 2025. The event, which commemorates over 60 years of history, faith, and cultural roots in Playa del Carmen, drew a crowd of 20,000 people.

A Night of Celebration and Farewell

The unforgettable evening marked Pulido’s announcement of his final year of touring, prompting heartfelt gratitude and farewells to his fans in the city. The artist performed hits such as Llegaste a mi vida, Se murió de amor, and Desvelado, along with a medley of songs by the late Vicente Fernández, all enthusiastically sung along by the audience.

The concert, attended by local families as well as national and international visitors, was made possible through the efforts of Playa del Carmen Mayor Estefanía Mercado. She emphasized her administration’s commitment to preserving and strengthening the traditions that define the Mexican Caribbean’s identity while providing free and accessible entertainment for all.

“Playa del Carmen reaffirms itself as the epicenter of the best events in Quintana Roo because entertainment is not a privilege—it is a right of the people,” Mayor Mercado stated.

A Safe and Family-Friendly Event

The performance took place in a secure and well-coordinated environment, with logistics managed by the municipal government and emergency services. This allowed residents and tourists alike to enjoy one of the most anticipated events of the fair.

Feria del Carmen 2025 was inaugurated on July 10 by Quintana Roo Governor Mara Lezama and Mayor Estefanía Mercado, alongside Verónica Lezama, honorary president of DIF Quintana Roo. The festivities continue with religious celebrations, exhibitions, gastronomy, cultural activities, and additional free concerts.

Molotov to Close the Fair

As part of the penultimate day of celebrations, the iconic Plaza 28 de Julio will host the band Molotov on Tuesday, July 15. The group will perform their most representative hits, with the concert scheduled for 9:00 PM. Like all other events, admission will be free.
