Volaris Launches 30 New Routes for Enhanced Travel Options

Mexican low-cost airline Volaris has announced the addition of 30 new domestic and international routes to its network. The expansion aims to bolster connectivity between Mexico, the United States, and Central America. Monterrey and Morelia will see the most new routes, with eight each. San Luis Potosí will gain three, while the US and Costa Rica will each receive eight and three new routes respectively.

Volaris' Executive Vice President, Holger Blankenstein, stated that this expansion underlines the airline's commitment to providing customers with more travel options. He emphasized the company's dedication to offering accessible, comfortable, and safe travel to more destinations, whether for family visits, business trips, or leisurely vacations.

Volaris, headed by Enrique Beltranena, currently operates 230 routes across 73 airports, including 44 in Mexico and 29 international locations. The new routes, which are already available for booking, will begin operations in stages starting from March 20 this year.

The new routes include Morelia-Mexicali, Morelia-Houston, San Luis Potosí-San Antonio, Monterrey-Tuxtla Gutierrez, Monterrey-Miami, Los Angeles-Querétaro, San José (Costa Rica)-Tulum, Ontario (California)-Los Cabos, and New York (Newark, New Jersey)-San Salvador.
