The new Tren Maya ticket module at Hotel & Suites Country in Valladolid, Yucatan

Valladolid, Yucatan — Hotel & Suites Country in Valladolid has launched the first off-station ticket module for the Tren Maya, providing residents and visitors with a convenient new option to purchase train tickets without traveling to the main terminal.

The module, located at the hotel entrance on Calle 42 between 33 and 35 in central Valladolid, operates 24 hours a day with bilingual service and accepts debit and credit card payments. Users can buy one-way or round-trip tickets and check existing reservations.

The Tren Maya is a large-scale railway project spanning approximately 1,554 kilometers across southeastern Mexico, connecting Chiapas, Tabasco, Campeche, Yucatan, and Quintana Roo. The route includes 20 stations and 14 stops at key destinations like Palenque, Mérida, Cancún, and Bacalar.

This new module expands access to the transportation system, enabling direct connections to strategic locations such as Cancún International Airport, Chichén Itzá, Tulum, and Mérida. The initiative, led by the Tren Maya General Directorate, aims to improve user experience and boost regional tourism development.
