The U.S. dollar remained unchanged during the first minutes of this Sunday, November 30, trading at 18.30 pesos per unit, the same price as on the morning of Saturday, November 29, according to data from the Investing platform.
According to Gabriela Siller Pagaza, Director of Economic and Financial Analysis at Grupo Financiero Base, the dollar weakened against the peso, which achieved an appreciation of 1.36 percent, implying a gain of 25.3 centavos.
This appreciation of the peso is partly due to a correction, as in October the peso depreciated 1.30% against the dollar, highlighted the director during her financial analysis report.
Behavior of the Peso During November 2025
According to Gabriela Siller, during November the exchange rate traded at an average of 18.4147 pesos per dollar, with an annualized volatility of 7.31%, rising from 4.92% in October and being the highest volatility since May.
Despite the increase, the volatility in the month was below the average of the last 11 months of 9.04%. The Mexican peso ranked fifth among the most appreciated currencies in the month, described the director.
She added that in the year-to-date, the Mexican peso maintains an appreciation of 12.15% or 2 pesos and 53 centavos, ranking seventh among the most appreciated currencies.
