Cancún, Quintana Roo — The State Attorney General’s Office secured the formal indictment of a man and a woman, identified as Brayan Imanol “N” and Tayra Alejandra “N”, for their alleged involvement in the crime of femicide, committed against a victim whose identity remains confidential, in this municipality.

Judicial Investigation Advances Against the Accused

According to evidence presented before the Control Judge, the victim informed her family that on December 10, 2025, she would go to the residence of Tayra Alejandra “N”, located in Supermanzana 95, marking the last time she was seen alive.

The investigations conducted by the Investigative Police indicate that, inside said property, the victim had an argument with the younger sister of the accused, a situation that escalated into a physical altercation. During that altercation, Tayra Alejandra “N” allegedly inflicted a neck injury on the victim with a sharp object and subsequently struck her in the head with a blunt object, causing her death.

Discovery of Remains and Judicial Determination

According to the ministerial investigation, with the assistance of Brayan Imanol “N”, the woman allegedly dismembered the victim’s body, wrapped the remains in blankets, and placed them inside black bags, which were abandoned outside a residence and located on December 12, following reports from neighbors.

After evaluating the evidence, the Judge determined to impose on both accused the precautionary measure of preventive detention for a period of two years, or the duration of the judicial process against them, while the corresponding proceedings continue.
