The Quintana Roo General Prosecutor's Office has charged Emir “N” and Victor Manuel “N” with aggravated homicide in Tulum. The victim, who was killed on January 20th, was found dismembered in bags near the city's Rotario Park. The Homicide Crime Combat Prosecutor's Office presented evidence to a judge, who ordered the suspects to stand trial and imposed pre-trial detention.

Investigations suggest that Emir “N”, along with accomplices Eduardo “N”, also known as “El Chaparro” or “Commander”, and José Emmanuel “N”, also known as “La Loba” — who are already on trial — allegedly abducted the victim from an apartment in Aldea Tulum. They reportedly transported him to a secluded area where Emir “N” shot him dead, dismembered his body, and discarded it in plastic bags.

Victor Manuel “N”, currently held at the Playa del Carmen Municipal Retention Center, faces a second charge. He is also accused of drug dealing, specifically the supply of marijuana.

Authorities believe the brutal homicide may be linked to a feud between rival criminal groups. The victim was reportedly a member of a group opposing the alleged attackers. The Prosecutor's Office has reaffirmed its commitment to tackling serious crimes and ensuring all those responsible are brought to justice.
