Two Men Arrested With Over 80 Doses of Drugs in Tulum
Tulum, Quintana Roo — Two men were arrested in Tulum on Wednesday on drug charges after a joint operation by local police, the State Prosecutor’s Office, and the Mexican Army.
The suspects, identified as David Jonathan “N,” 26, and Saúl “N,” 30, were caught in possession of more than 80 doses of suspected narcotics, including marijuana and tussi, a synthetic drug also known as pink cocaine, according to officials.
The arrests took place during a coordinated patrol and anti-drug trafficking effort in the municipality. Both men were detained red-handed and turned over to the State Prosecutor’s Office, which will investigate and determine their legal status.
Authorities said the operation is part of ongoing collaboration between federal, state, and municipal forces to combat drug dealing in Tulum. The suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
