Tulum Upgrades Equine Therapy Center for Vulnerable Children
Tulum, Quintana Roo — Tulum Mayor Diego Castañón Trejo toured the DIF Tulum Equine Therapy Center on Wednesday to inspect recent upgrades aimed at improving care for vulnerable children.
Accompanied by DIF Tulum honorary president Lizbeth García and director Adriana Cazales, the mayor reviewed the installation of a shade structure that will protect children from high temperatures and weather conditions during therapy sessions.
“We installed a shade screen for the children’s therapies to protect them from the sun, offering them a better quality of life and helping improve their therapy outcomes. We will continue making commitments and delivering results,” Castañón Trejo said.
García thanked the municipal government for its support in strengthening the specialized care center and pledged continued backing for the children who receive therapy there.
