Tulum, Mexico — Tulum will have several streets closed in the first days of 2026 due to this year’s Zamna Festival celebrating the arrival of the new year. The municipal government led by Diego Castañón has shared the list of streets and maps that are being restricted.

The Zamna Festival 2026 is an electronic music event that has been held since 2017 and has finally returned to its origins on Mexican soil. This year’s lineup went viral on social media and caused tickets to sell out before New Year’s. In fact, one of the artists that caused the most buzz on social media was MRAK.

Other artists who will attend the electronic music event include:

  • Korolova
  • ASAL
  • LEONARDO
  • 19:26

WHAT ARE THE ALTERNATIVE ROUTES THAT CAN BE TAKEN IN TULUM?

For these days of street closures in Tulum, in addition to the streets enabled for citizen passage, the municipal government asks that precautions be taken such as leaving with plenty of advance time, trying to go around the area, and for attendees not to stay far from the zone.

To reach the venue without entering any of the closed streets, it’s best to park the car, get off transportation one block before, and walk to arrive on time. Because of the festival, you should just follow the people; however, always watch your safety and your belongings.
