Preparations Advance for Major Aeronautical Event
Tulum, Quintana Roo — Preparations for the Tulum Air Show 2026 continue to advance, with the event shaping up to be one of the most important aeronautical spectacles of the year in southeastern Mexico. State authorities, representatives of the Mexican Air Force, and executives from the Mexico Aerospace Fair (FAMEX) held a working meeting to review the current status of the project.
The Tulum Air Show 2026 will take place from April 23 to 26 at the Tulum International Airport “Felipe Carrillo Puerto,” where aerial exhibitions, specialized activities, and complementary events open to the public are planned.
Logistics and Security Details Finalized
During the meeting, key aspects related to the event’s logistics, organization, and security were analyzed, as well as the components that will form part of the air show, which will include high-level aeronautical exhibitions and unprecedented activities in the country.
According to the organizers, work is progressing as scheduled, which would ensure a safe and attractive experience for both national and international visitors.
Tourism and Economic Impact for Tulum and Quintana Roo
State authorities indicated that events of this magnitude strengthen the projection of Tulum and Quintana Roo as destinations for international spectacles, in addition to generating economic spillover, temporary employment, and increased tourist flow in the region during the event days.
The Tulum International Airport will be one of the strategic venues, consolidating itself not only as key infrastructure for tourism but also as a space for large-format events.
Special Activities and Public Access
As part of the Tulum Air Show 2026 program, the “Honor and Motor” race was announced, an activity designed to recognize the work of the Mexican Air Force. This event will feature free access for military families and local residents, aiming to foster social participation.
Furthermore, it was revealed that the spectacle will include specialized exhibitions and presentations never before seen in Mexico, with the goal of positioning the Mexican Caribbean as a strategic point for aerospace meetings of international reach.
