Mahahual, Quintana Roo — Three men riding motorcycles were abducted by an armed group on Tuesday afternoon along the Malecón in Mahahual, near the lighthouse, authorities reported.

According to preliminary accounts, the victims were intercepted by assailants who allegedly beat them before forcing them into several pickup trucks. The trucks then headed toward the federal highway, leaving the motorcycles abandoned at the scene.
