Tulum, Quintana Roo — Four individuals, including one woman, entered a condominium in the Holístika zone of this city in the early morning hours and completely emptied it after simulating a moving operation. The theft, executed without generating suspicion, was captured by the security cameras of the affected residence.

The victims uploaded the footage to social media, where it can be seen that the subjects arrived in a cargo-type vehicle, which they parked directly in front of the main entrance. After forcing open the gate and the door, they began removing furniture, appliances, and the owner's personal belongings, taking advantage of the fact that the property was unoccupied.

The thieves worked with total freedom for several minutes. Among the stolen items are a refrigerator, stove, televisions, wardrobes, plates, cutlery, and a wide quantity of household articles. They even took clothing, sandals, and minor possessions, demonstrating the level of thoroughness with which they acted.

The mechanics of the robbery mimicked a legitimate move, which would have prevented neighbors from suspecting the nocturnal activity. According to authorities, this type of modus operandi has been detected in other parts of the state, where criminals use cargo vehicles to avoid drawing attention and to facilitate the transport of bulky objects.

The property owner discovered the looting upon returning to the residence hours later, finding the home completely empty. The corresponding complaint was filed with the State Attorney General's Office, which is already analyzing the security videos to identify those responsible and determine the route they took after leaving the area.

Municipal Police officers conducted a patrol of the area and collected testimonies from neighbors, though no arrests have been reported to date. Authorities have urged residents of Holístika and surrounding areas to reinforce their security measures and report any suspicious movement, especially during nighttime hours.

The case has generated concern among inhabitants and condominium administrators, who noted that the appearance of a move can go unnoticed even by security personnel. While the investigation continues, the residence remains under guard pending progress from the ministerial authorities.
