Cancún, Mexico — On September 25, 2025, the Universal Hall of the Moon Palace Hotel in Cancún was the setting for the anticipated "Teletón 2025 Art Gala: Five Senses." This event, which brought together art lovers and benefactors, was characterized as a space where the creativity of the children from the CRIT Quintana Roo was celebrated and valued as a bridge for emotional expression and empowerment.

This is the sixth gala, now under the leadership of Paolo Montero, General Director of the CRIT Quintana Roo, who highlighted the auction of works created by young artists from the center. These artists, with their hands and hearts, captured dreams and strength in every stroke.

During the bidding, the municipal president of Benito Juárez, Ana Paty Peralta, acquired one of the works, which provoked an emotional reaction from the young artist. "I thank you for this invitation and I reaffirm my commitment to support the talent of our children, who are our inspiration and our future," commented the local official.

The purpose of the Teletón Art Gala goes beyond offering a cultural experience; it represents a transformative opportunity that directs the funds raised to therapies and treatments for patients of the CRIT Quintana Roo, currently benefiting more than 1,300 families.

This social commitment was made possible thanks to the collaboration of allies such as The Palace Company, Palace Foundation, ACIBEP, Industria del Romance, VATEL Club México, and ASUR, who demonstrated that culture and social responsibility can unite to generate a significant impact.

Inspired by "The Five Senses," the sixth gala offered diverse sensory experiences to attendees. Previous years have included author dinners, art auctions, and live performances, and this year promised to maintain that level of excellence.

Among the personalities present were the president of the Quintana Roo DIF volunteer group, Verónica Lezama, and other community leaders.

The event not only included the auction of 10 art pieces by the children of the CRIT, under the direction of the recognized artist León Alva, but also the auction of more than 100 tourist experiences and a culinary festival with the participation of more than 20 distinguished chefs from the region. Admission had a cost to contribute to the funding of this noble cause.

The Teletón Art Gala is an event that is more than a cultural date; it is a commitment from all the people of Cancún and Quintana Roo to provide a brighter future for our children. It is a reflection of how art and solidarity can converge to forge positive change in society.
