Cancún — According to the most recent results from La Encuesta MX, the Governor of Quintana Roo, Mara Lezama Espinosa, leads the national ranking of state governors rated highest in matters of honesty and transparency.
The study places the Quintana Roo executive in first place nationally, followed by Manolo Jiménez of Coahuila and Tere Jiménez of Aguascalientes. The subsequent positions are occupied by Maru Campos of Chihuahua, Mauricio Kuri of Querétaro, and Joaquín Díaz Mena of Yucatán.
The list is completed by Pablo Lemus of Jalisco, Samuel García of Nuevo León, Clara Brugada of Mexico City, and Alfonso Durazo of Sonora.
According to the report, the results reflect citizen perception regarding the honesty, transparency, and accountability of the governors, indicators that directly influence levels of institutional trust.
The measurement was conducted during October 2025 and forms part of the periodic studies that La Encuesta MX carries out to evaluate the management and reputation of state governments in Mexico.
