Puerto Morelos is all set to participate in the 4th Caribbean Gastronomic Festival, scheduled for March 8 and 9 in Bacalar. The announcement was made by Raúl Guadarrama García, the director of Tourism for the municipality. He further stated that the municipal president, Blanca Merari Tziu Muñoz, has urged local restaurant owners to stay informed about the festival. The event aims to highlight Quintana Roo's culinary culture and boost tourism in the area.
This year's festival marks the first time that chefs, restaurant owners, culinary schools, and the general public from all municipalities will have the opportunity to convene. The event is expected to draw a crowd of approximately 6,000 attendees, similar to last year's turnout in Puerto Morelos.
The festival will take place from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the “Ángel Remigio Rosado” park in Bacalar. This iconic location is situated across from the Municipal Palace and the “San Felipe” Fort, providing a unique view of the seven-color lagoon.
