Playa del Carmen, Mexico — The Undersecretary of Territorial Administration of the Secretariat of Sustainable Urban Territorial Development (SEDETUS), David Alejandro Tapia, alongside the Director of Real Estate Affairs of the agency, Gabriela Peña, has delivered 80 licenses to real estate professionals in the city of Playa del Carmen. This action is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the regulation and professionalization of the sector in the state of Quintana Roo.

Strengthening Legal Certainty and Professionalization

These measures are carried out within the framework of the New Agreement for the Well-being and Development of Quintana Roo, promoted by Governor Mara Lezama Espinosa. The objective is to provide greater legal certainty to investors and citizens through the registration and regulation of real estate advisors operating in the state.

The issuance of these licenses constitutes part of SEDETUS's work to ensure real estate activity is conducted under standards of legality, transparency, and professionalism.
