80 Real Estate Licenses Awarded in Playa del Carmen

Playa del Carmen, Mexico — The Undersecretary of Territorial Administration of the Secretariat of Sustainable Urban Territorial Development (SEDETUS), David Alejandro Tapia, alongside the Director of Real Estate Affairs of the agency, Gabriela Peña, has delivered 80 licenses to real estate professionals in the city of Playa del Carmen. This action is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the regulation and professionalization of the sector in the state of Quintana Roo.

These measures are carried out within the framework of the New Agreement for the Well-being and Development of Quintana Roo, promoted by Governor Mara Lezama Espinosa. The objective is to provide greater legal certainty to investors and citizens through the registration and regulation of real estate advisors operating in the state.

The issuance of these licenses constitutes part of SEDETUS's work to ensure real estate activity is conducted under standards of legality, transparency, and professionalism. This initiative contributes to the orderly development of the territory and strengthens confidence in the state's real estate market.

The event was held in Playa del Carmen, where the delivery of 80 professional real estate licenses for the municipality was formalized. This act reaffirms the institutional commitment to promoting a responsible and regulated real estate sector.

With these actions, the Secretariat of Sustainable Urban Territorial Development continues working to strengthen the professionalization of the real estate sector, promote legality in operations, and consolidate orderly and sustainable urban development in Quintana Roo.
