Puerto Aventuras Road Repaving Restarts After Protests

Puerto Aventuras, Mexico — Mayor Gilberto Gómez Martínez confirmed that road repaving projects in various areas of this municipality have resumed after a temporary suspension and subsequent citizen protests over inconveniences caused by street closures.

Addressing Community Concerns

Gómez Martínez acknowledged the disruptions caused by the construction but emphasized the necessity of the work due to the deteriorating asphalt conditions. He reiterated that the projects were part of a preplanned schedule.

The mayor estimated that the repairs would be completed within approximately 15 days. He noted that officials are maintaining open communication with residents to address concerns and minimize disruptions during the construction process.
