Cancún, QRoo — Demonstrating the community spirit that distinguishes the people of Quintana Roo, the Sistema DIF Quintana Roo, under the honorary presidency of Verónica Lezama, has established three state collection centers in Chetumal, Cancún, and Playa del Carmen. This initiative also includes the coordinated opening of 11 municipal collection centers in collaboration with the DIF Systems of each municipality.

These centers are receiving non-perishable food, water, personal hygiene items, and cleaning products. The collected supplies will be sent to families affected by recent contingencies in the states of Veracruz, Hidalgo, Puebla, Querétaro, and San Luis Potosí.

“Quintana Roo always responds with its heart. Every donation represents hope for those who need it most today,” expressed the honorary president of DIF Quintana Roo, Verónica Lezama.

Governor Mara Lezama emphasized that these actions are part of a Humanist Government with a feminist heart, which promotes empathy and community work. “When a community unites, nothing can stop it. Thank you to all the people of Quintana Roo for extending a hand and being part of this great support network,” she stated.

With this campaign, Quintana Roo reaffirms its commitment to unity, generosity, and solidarity, demonstrating that helping others also transforms lives.
