Several hotel workers from Puerto Morelos, believed to be employees of the Grand Residence, have been reported missing. According to their coworkers and family members, the individuals were last seen during their work shift.
While some accounts suggest that four people have disappeared, the State Attorney's Office (FGE) of Quintana Roo has officially recognized only three missing persons reports. The missing workers, last seen on August 13 in Puerto Morelos, are Jesus Abraham Araujo Verde, Jose Luis Bautista Gamez, and Victor Roman Che Ramos. Their ages are 24, 38, and 42 respectively. Official search records for these three individuals have been established.
Despite this, social media posts indicate a potential fourth missing person in Puerto Morelos. The individual is identified as Francisco Jose Lamas Cañizales, but no official search record has been issued for him. Below is the image that has been circulated on social media.
