Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo — The government of Quintana Roo has announced the 2026 National Employment Fair for Diversity and Labor Inclusion, set to take place June 10 at the Palapa del DIF in Playa del Carmen. The event aims to connect job seekers with companies from various sectors in the Riviera Maya, as well as government agencies offering formal vacancies.
The fair is part of the “Empléate Quintana Roo” strategy and is organized jointly by the state’s Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare (STyPS), the State Employment Service and Job Training (SEECAT), the DIF system of Playa del Carmen, and the National Employment Service (SNE).
Authorities emphasized that this edition seeks to create discrimination-free hiring spaces, promoting job opportunities for women, youth, people with disabilities, older adults, and members of the LGBTQ+ community, among other groups.
Companies From Multiple Sectors to Offer Vacancies
The fair will feature companies from the tourism, hotel, commercial, industrial, and service sectors, as well as federal institutions such as Protección Federal. The goal is to provide formal job openings with legal benefits, competitive salaries, and growth opportunities, facilitating direct contact between recruiters and applicants.
According to organizers, such events streamline selection and hiring processes and help reduce unemployment rates in the region.

The recruitment event will take place on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Palapa del DIF Playa del Carmen, located on Calle 8 Norte between Avenidas 30 and 40 in downtown Playa del Carmen.
