The fair is part of the “Empléate Quintana Roo” strategy and is organized jointly by the state’s Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare (STyPS), the State Employment Service and Job Training (SEECAT), the DIF system of Playa del Carmen, and the National Employment Service (SNE).
Authorities emphasized that this edition seeks to create discrimination-free hiring spaces, promoting job opportunities for women, youth, people with disabilities, older adults, and members of the LGBTQ+ community, among other groups.

The fair will feature companies from the tourism, hotel, commercial, industrial, and service sectors, as well as federal institutions such as Protección Federal. To speed up entry, interested individuals can pre-register on the National Employment Service platform at ferias.empleo.gob.mx. Organizers suggest bringing several printed copies of an updated resume, a valid official ID, and the CURP (unique population registry code) to facilitate interviews and immediate hiring.
